*dools everywhere*

COLLECTOR paperwork, props, and scripts!!!! Alll miiiiiiiiiine!!!! Well, I'll share a script or two with Timeless Destinations come summer (charity auction).

One of the props got quite a bit of screen-time! It's the Katrina photo! I even have the envelope it came in.

So, I know where Morgan lives, AND I now have his keys. If he were real, he'd so kick my arse.

Red Tea Lattes from Starbucks are crap! I love red tea, but seriously the things are disgusting.

Yeah, I know, random. Just wanted you to all be alerted to that though ;)

Oh, wow. Everybody, GO SEE CHILDREN OF MEN.

I enjoyed it more than the book (which it bared almost no resemblence to). Very, very good movie!!! Well directed. Well written. Well acted.

Hm, apparently having a coconut allergy makes me a freak. It's not a huge allergy by any means - coconut to me is more of an irritant - but I still call it one because dry-mouth and a slight tightening of my throat are rather annoying.

I've never heard of anyone being allergic to artificial grape flavouring. Good thing I hate grape-flavoured foods (love actual grapes, though. Yummy!). It's found in a blueberry candy I enjoy which sucks, but well... that "allergy" is also more of an irritant (it gives me coughing fits).

I am also allergic to pumpkin. It makes me nauseous after a couple bites worth of pumpkin pie. Sadly, I have a weakness for pumpkin pie, and spend much time on the verge of throwing up every autumn. Rarely does it come up, thankfully, but extreme discomfort is still there.

I got the days off that I wanted for the Evanescence concert, yay! I didn't think I would. Asked for three days: One to go to the Calgary Zoo with Jennifer, one to do some shopping and then go to the concert, and another to get back to Lethbridge.

Saving for Australia is going well... I have -- if I recall correctly -- about $1200. I figure I need $3000 minimum, but I'm getting there! I think Len and I will go in mid-October. My plan is to fly to Vancouver for VCON, then leave for Australia from there the day after the convention ends.

Everyone, cross your fingers that the manager of the Casino will permit me to take all the time off that I want this year... because I don't want to miss Timeless Destinations OR cancel Australia.

Sweeeeeeeeeeeeet. As of today I am officially out of debt. Take that, VISA!

To celebrate the fact that I had $300 left over from my paycheque, I puchased an item that I have been wanting for quite a while now: a tablet. A cheap model (which seems to work well enough from the reviews I've read) since I'm not a professional and can't justify spending hundreds of dollars on one.

Starting with my next paycheque I begin saving for Australia in-full :D

Whoooooooooooooooooot *bounce bounce bounce bounce bounce*

In as early as one year from right now, I'll be going to AUSTRALIA!!!!!

I think my mom feels bad for lying to me about sending me to England if I did well in school, so she's paying my airfare for this trip. Found a sweet deal on it, too. She says England and Costa Rica can wait, and that I need to see Australia while I'm still young.

[info]littlemissscifi, we'll have to get together, methinks, if you're interested. Already planning to meet up with one of my other Aussie friends :D Am I thinking of someone else, or are you in Canberra? I'll be going to Syndey, Brisbane, and Cairns for sure, but I can always hop the coach from Sydney for a day or two.

And I still have full plans to attend Timeless Destinations. I have around $650 saved for that trip already -- 25% of my tips earned since mid-August. Basically my accomodations and bus-fare (if I do take the Greyhound) are paid for. Anything else is spending-money.

One piece of my TD2006 costume down, 4 to go! It's a good costume too >:) Rather fitting considering that it's ME and that it's for a sci-fi con *giggle*. And I'm not sharing what it is until the entire costume is assembled ;)

I've become such a Corner Gas fangirl. Bought a jacket today with the show's logo on it.

Writing Collector fanfic while simultaneously watching Watership Down (the TV series, imported from England) is not a good idea. The two things just don't mesh.

Totally random, useless entry, I know!
